Built in 1909, the brick and limestone building was once known as the Colonial Hotel. Many of the original architectural features can be seen in the hotel's restored glory, like the terrazzo floor, heart-pine stairwell and stamped tin ceiling, all in the front lobby. The Dining Room seats 75 and offers a rotating gourmet breakfast menu. The European style, already warm and inviting, is made even more enjoyable by the 1895 carved, English rosewood piano.
Our Parlor hosts inn guests with evening wine and cheese receptions. The Parlor is reserved for inn guests as a place to relax. Weekend evening wine and cheese receptions provide refreshment and a chance to socialize. Well-stocked book shelves offer ample opportunity to browse or read at your leisure. Our Library Room allows conferences and meetings to take on extra sophistication when offered at the StoneFort Inn. Meetings in the Library Room can include up to 40 people. Details like the marble fireplace give the room subtle beauty. The wet bar provides convenient access to refreshment necessities, and full catering is available for breakfast, lunch or breakout sessions. The Library often hosts inn guests with evening wine and cheese receptions.
On the second and third levels are the inn's guest rooms, all furnished with antiques and decorated with elegant fabrics. |
