TerraMae Appalachian Bistro is a unique dining concept inspired by Southern Appalachian cuisine. The restaurant opened at StoneFort Inn in 2012, expanding the Inn’s existing dining space and opening to the public.It was declared “one of Chattanooga’s buzziest new restaurants” by Travel + Leisure magazine - 2013. Chef Shelley’s menu features ingredients grown on our very own TerraMae Farm and supplemented by the local farmer’s market. From steaks to scallops, from chowchow to country ham, and from barbecue duck to biscuits, TerraMae celebrates flavors from up and down the Appalachian range, and especially those found in the hills and hollers of Southern Appalachia. We are proud of our local heritage and love to source local products, including Chatz's award-winning coffee, which is roasted just a few blocks away on Market Street.
