Chattanooga TN Breweries Attract Beer Lovers

Beer lovers, rejoice! There are several Chattanooga TN breweries for you to check out during your next visit to the Scenic City, and StoneFort Inn is right in the center of the map.

A few minutes after checking in, you and your friends can take a taxi and be on your way to enjoying a nice frosty beer!

Closest to us is The Terminal Brewhouse on 14th Street. They brew their own beer fresh from malted barley, hops, yeast, and water. Their selections include American Pale Ale, Maibock, India Pale Ale, Belgian White, Oatmeal Stout, and Vanilla Porter.

Chattanooga Brewing Company has moved into an impressive new facility next to Finley Stadium. This means you can sit at the impressive pub table from Industrial Farmhouse on the second level and watch the Mocs play while enjoying their Imperial Pilsner, Two Taverns Pale Ale, Hill City IPA, or Hill City Stout. They're open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4-10 pm and from 11 am-10 pm Fridays through Sundays.

Near the riverfront and tourist attractions like the Tennessee Aquarium is Big River Grille and Brewing Works. They've won several awards for their Iron Horse Stout, Sweet Stout, Rocket Red, Sweet Magnolia Brown Ale, and coffee flavored beer Expresso Stout. Their sampler showcases the range from Southern Flyer Light Lager to the Iron Horse Stout with four other beers in between. Big River also has a large selection of food. If you venture out toward Hamilton Place Mall, they also have a location there. Their hours are 11-11 during the week, 11 am-midnight on Fridays and Saturdays and 11-10 on Sundays.

The Moccasin Bend Brewing Company is located in the historic St. Elmo district near the Incline Railway. Be sure to try the Lookout Mountain Lager or their selection of ales. They're open 6-midnight Monday-Friday, 1- midnight on Saturdays and 2-midnight on Sundays.

Additionally, Chattanooga hosts beer festivals in May and August, so you can check our Calendar of Events to plan your next trip to the Scenic City.

If you just feel like staying in for the night when you visit us at StoneFort Inn, you can also enjoy McHale's Beers served on tap at the TerraMae bar.
